Baba Vanga (full name: Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova) was born on January 31, 1911, in Strumica (now in North Macedonia). She lost her eyesight at the age of 12 due to a mysterious storm, after which she reportedly began experiencing visions and predicting future events. By the 1940s, she was widely recognized in Bulgaria and throughout Eastern Europe, with many leaders and influential figures seeking her guidance.
