SOWING VIETNAMESE SOUNDS: A RARE REALITY SHOW IN VIETNAM FOR MUSIC PRODUCERS
The reality show “Gieo Âm Việt” is specially designed for music producers — a contemporary folk music creation competition officially airing from October 27, 2025.
In the current landscape of Vietnamese music programs, which often focus on singers and stage performances, “Gieo Âm Việt” emerges as a refreshing new wave — a rare reality show dedicated entirely to music producers. The program aims to build a bridge between cultural heritage and modern life, allowing folk values not only to be preserved but also revived through the lens of the new generation.
The “Gieo Âm Việt” reality show consists of six episodes, broadcast simultaneously on the official Facebook and YouTube channels of Gieo Âm Việt starting from October 2025.
With music director Hoaprox as mentor, the show follows the creative journey of six young producers:
- Round 1 – The First Encounter: Contestants get acquainted with the “Vietnamese melody code,” explore the treasure of traditional sounds, and experiment with their first folk-inspired samples.
- Round 2 – The Guiding Path: The challenge round, where technique, emotion, and cultural identity intertwine to shape each producer’s unique musical style.
- Final Night: The culmination of the journey — when folk music is reborn in a new form: youthful, modern, yet deeply Vietnamese in spirit.
The first episode is now available on all Gieo Âm Việt platforms.
